Frequently Asked Questions

To help you out, please find below some of the questions we are regularly asked. If you have any other questions, or if we can help in any way, please feel free to get in touch.

Do I need a referral from a doctor?

No, you can just call up and make an appointment. We are however, happy to receive referrals from other health care professionals or GP’s.

Can I claim the appointment and treatment costs back on a Health Insurance Policy?

Most Health insurance companies will cover our treatments and you will be able to claim the cost back. Please check with your insurance company before booking treatment to check though.

What do I need to bring / wear for my first appointment?

If you are attending a routine appointment, please bring a list of your medication so we can add this to your records.
If you are attending for a biomechanics assessment, please wear the shoes that you do most of your exercise / walking in, and shorts or trousers that can be rolled above your ankle.
If you are attending for nail surgery, please bring flip flops to wear home and make sure you have someone to drive you home (you will not be able to drive yourself).

Where should I park?

There is parking for disabled access at the back of the clinic (enter via Rack Close). For all other patients there is 30 minutes free parking outside the front of the clinic on East Street, or there is Black Swan Yard pay and display car park over the road from the clinic.
